On Tuesday 1 March, it will be the latest instalment of #kittencamp, a networking event with a focus on the memes of the web. I will be providing the 15 minute guest speaker slot and will take attendees on a whistle-stop tour of what can be done with social media monitoring. No pitching, just illustrations of pertinent business and current affairs issues.
As the event is a celebration of memes, I have run an analysis of the above ‘YouTube sensation’ to demonstrate social media influence, the spread of the video and how, sometimes, the best memes aren’t made with ‘virality’ in mind. Our euphoric friend had no idea his video would achieve such notoriety and there was a 356 day period where nobody took notice. Do watch the above video and you will be in a good position of understanding for 1 March and it will buy me an extra 3 minutes and 29 seconds of presentation time.
There are a handful of tickets remaining for the event and there is free drink available. Do come along to the Rubber Republic/ Viral Ad Network event and see what the web has been talking about en masse.
Hope to see you there.
